Great questions. I simply don't know. My assumption is that the NCAA allows some adjustments to things when a school adds a new varsity sport. Also, not everyone is on scholarship and many are going to be partials. NCAA allows 12 for WLAX. Here's the recruiting class of 19 that was signed for WLAX in Nov 2012: LINK. Other additions to roster: LINK2, LINK3.
