When the other team can't score, you'll win a lot of games.

The hallmark of Coach Sanchez's system seems to be great defense. Having Annie Brunner in net helps a ton, too. One of the best goalkeepers in the conference this year.

This is why I chose soccer as my surprise team. Not many people talking about them but they have a good chance to have a great year.
 
I'm going to show my ignorance here. I'm sure soccer teams are ranked? Is CU good enough to get ranked?

Following the Colorado Cup, DU was ranked #25 heading into this week. CU didn't have any votes. Maybe that will change.

If they can beat Alabama and UT-Martin next weekend, I'd expect them to be ranked. Then we've got that game with DU the following week, which will be the big matchup of the non-conference schedule.
