But then the poor bastard would have to go to the Broncos.2020 NFL Mock Draft: Justin Herbert replaces Cam Newton; six wide receivers in Round 1
The depth of this wide receiver class on full display in this mock draftwww.cbssports.com
It's an outlier but this guy has Mustafa has the #8 pick in the entire draft!
At this rate, the broncos are gonna pick well before #8.But then the poor bastard would have to go to the Broncos.
You cant be THAT inconsistent in the NFL. Its not about having one great game, consistency is much more important. If he has 4 more games like ASU and 4 more like air force this season, hes not going to get drafted. The Montez that showed up in Tempe is NFL ready.
The Montez that showed up against Air Force doesn’t get an invite to the combine.
It’s up to Montez to show NFL scouts which one they can expect.
I think that’s what I said. You cant be THAT inconsistent in the NFL. Its not about having one great game, consistency is much more important. If he has 4 more games like ASU and 4 more like air force this season, hes not going to get drafted.
I think it’s almost a lock Montez will get drafted regardless what he does the rest of the year. He has the size and arm scouts love. There will be a team that will think they can fix his bi-polar decision making with coaching. You cant be THAT inconsistent in the NFL. Meh, he should be pretty close to graduation after this season. I don’t see a reason to wait if the NFL is his dream. CU isn’t going away and NFL careers are fleeting. If I'm Viska, I'm gone, especially if I'm dealing with an injury. It's just like Dinwiddie - if you're going to rehab and risk further injury, do it when you're getting paid to do so. Plus, he has nothing further to prove. If scouts are going to knock him for being injury-prone, coming back for another season isn't going to change that. He's already gotten hurt and missed time more than once in college, so it is what it is at this point.
As far as KD - man, he needs to finish his education. Maybe he gets a look as a UDFA, maybe he makes a 53-man roster, but I don't see him lasting long in the NFL. Make sure you get your degree, then go chase your pro football dream. He's not going to get the coin Viska is going to get.
32 Teams in the league, all he needs is one to fall in love with his athletic ability and his size enough to draft him to make sure nobody else gets him. With his size and arm strength don't have any question that multiple teams won't want to take a shot on him.I think it’s almost a lock Montez will get drafted regardless what he does the rest of the year. Is KD close to getting his degree? If so, is it possible that he might grad-transfer to be the featured receiver someplace, and possibly increase his draft stock?
Just curious.
Tua or Herbert: Which QB is worth tanking for?
The early drumbeat of the 2020 NFL draft quarterback debate revolves around two players. Which of the two will go No. 1? Are there any others who could ascend to the top spot?sports.yahoo.com
Pete Thamel is pretty plugged in and spoke with several scouts for this article. He mentions eight potential first round QB's and Montez is one of them. He won't actually go first round...too many flaws and this class of QB's is very strong. But seems like a good possibility he'll go earlier than most people on here seem to think.
If KD plays college football, he’ll stay at Colorado. He’ll be a senior starter at CU with several coaches who he really enjoys.
Seems like recently teams have been more willing to spend a late round pick on a specialist than they used to.I know Mtn mentioned them, briefly, but I think both Stefanou and Kinney make a roster next year. They’re both having great years. The NFL typically doesn’t draft kickers and punters, but I would be shocked if both don’t sign somewhere and stick.
