College Football News, Rumor & Humor

Coach Prime cannot pass Sweeney as the most hated coach in college football because there are a lot of people that love CP too. Pretty much everyone hates Sweeney.
I would probably hate him just a little less if it were even “Sweeney”, a normal last name. But “Swinney” - puts my hate fire over the top.

BLA is a University of Florida collective?

Edit: a Google search answered my question.
That is absolutely horrible.

For those that didn’t click through on the tweet, Dexter received $436,485 as a collegiate player in exchange for giving up 15% of his pre-tax NFL earnings for 25 years. To put that in perspective, let’s say he has $20,000,000 in career earnings in the NFL, he would be handing over $3,000,000 to Big League Advance.

However, assuming a 25% effective tax for local, state and federal, he’s already losing $5 million to taxes. Then you have a 3% agent fee.

Ouch.

Meh. Eat a dick. These players wanted all this autonomy. Some said they weren’t mature enough to navigate this new world and they’d be exploited. The masses said “nay, they’re adults. This will work out great for them.” **** ‘em.

Dude. Everyone wants and deserves freedom and autonomy. That doesn't mean that there don't need to be laws and rules to protect people when all the wealth, power, education and experience is sitting on the other side of the negotiating table.

Exactly, there needs to be rules. No one wanted to apply any rules.

Realize interest is minimal here on VT sports, but for those who follow a plethora of teams information on social media, my nephew has dreams of working in sports marketing and is putting a fair bit of effort into his Instagram account. Follows welcome and appreciated.

So, the kid leveraged his Instagram account to get media passes to all VT's home games this year.

I almost included VT in other games thread for you as they are one of the P5 programs that is actually playing another P5 program but Purdue looks to be terrible and VT is still only favored by less that FG at home. This one has all the looks of depressing game to watch.

Can't argue that
