College Football News, Rumor & Humor

I’ve seen some talk (opinions) that Caleb Williams should shut it down for the rest of the year now that CFP is out of the question, as is Pac 12 Championship and Heisman in all likelihood. The rest of the season for SC is relatively meaningless.

This is definitely one issue the 12 team playoff will help curb, IMO. More meaningful games will keep marquee players playing until they are eliminated

If I am Williams, I am definitely done for the year.

I hate that these players are sticking around to play for their teams but college football has gone way past that now.

Hard to find any reason for him to keep playing. A single shot to the knee or aggressive sack dumping him on his throwing shoulder could cost him millions.

Holy ****. Massive coordinated cheating effort that goes beyond in person scouting and sign stealing. I'm not sure Harbaugh survives this, and honestly, I'm not sure Michigan football doesn't get hit with major sanctions.

I would think that team officials buying tickets to conference opponents is pretty normal.

Buying tickets and sideline taping seem to me like really different things in terms of acceptable or not

It’s against the rules to do any in person scouting, so it’s not normal at all for team officials to be buying tickets to opponents games

Hate to see it. The coaching profession can sometimes chew people up. Talented coach.
Don't want to in any way minimize the seriousness of driving under the influence but this kind of charges are extra difficult for a Black man in a high profile, public profession.

If he were an insurance executive or a factory manager or owned an auto shop the process is serious and expensive but in time he could put the mistake behind him and go on.

For him this very likely puts an end to any hopes he may have had of getting a P5 level head coaching job again despite his solid resume.
