Would love to see this game played, but there's just more downside for tOSU than upside, even though I think they would be double digit favorites and likely win comfortbaly
You would think CBS would still want to be a player in college football, so that would open up other conferences, but maybe they just focus on NFL? Doubtful
Hopefully CBS would want to highlight the PAC12. Take over as the carrier of our prime games. Potentially as part of an entire package they would also put games on CBSSN and take an active roll in running and distributing the PAC12N.My thoughts exactly. Maybe CBS has some money available to spend to stay relevant in the college football market. They may not be able to hit the ESPN money amount, but maybe a chance for a come up for the Pac???
Over $300m... More than 6x what the CBS package was

That would be an additional 17.5 million per school so should put them right above the big 10
Yeah, you're probably right. That's probably the only way they get higher than 4 seedAfter they pistol whip OU, I think they leap to the #2 spot in the CFP rankings. There’s decent upside not playing Alabama.
Looks like it.I believe that puts them close to 60 million?
Thank gawd we have Larry Scott!Looks like it.
Haha even without Larry we aren’t touching that kind of money.Thank gawd we have Larry Scott!
Meanwhile, ESPN is laying off personnel. Doesn’t make sense.
I’d love to have the CBS crew doing PAC 12 games. Those guys are legit.
Who exactly?Meanwhile, ESPN is laying off personnel. Doesn’t make sense.

Wait, if CU has the Big Noon game, how will Fox broadcast the Cal game at 1pm? -Hokie ProbablyBIG AFTERNOON!

Two more.I’m pretty sure that the P12 just needs one more cancellation to get under the game per team requirement.
Oh, I thought the Oregon-Udub game was one of the two needed. Okay, two more! Two more.
3 total! It's not happening.Oh, I thought the Oregon-Udub game was one of the two needed. Okay, two more!
That’s where I’m off the train. At this point, only COVID keeps Udub out of the game IMO if the per game doesn’t get met.3 total! It's not happening.
But if we win, there's a chance that pac pulls a B1G. Especially if USC does too
Fair take. But UW lost to a team we beat. With the B!G permission structure in place itsa possibly. If we win. That’s where I’m off the train. At this point, only COVID keeps Udub out of the game IMO if the per game doesn’t get met.
I can see Oregon getting the nod. I would be shocked if the P12 did something to burn the north without a rule out.Fair take. But UW lost to a team we beat. With the B!G permission structure in place itsa possibly. If we win.
They are pros. Met Verne several times. Good dude.I guess I’m the only one who likes the CBS announcers.
Me too. But it's a crazy year and I'm thinking positiveI can see Oregon getting the nod. I would be shocked if the P12 did something to burn the north without a rule out.
But have you met Brad Nessler? They are pros. Met Verne several times. Good dude.
