The weekend of games started on Thursday with Houston finally playing a game and they got the win over Tulane. Louisville is playing Georgia Tech tonight on ESPN.

Tomorrow's slate of games is great! 3 top 20 matchups between undefeated teams plus Florida at Texas A&M.

There's also two matchups which are under the radar but in most other years are marquee games: Texas-OU and FSU at Notre Dame.

D'Eriq King and Kyle Trask are obviously early Heisman candidates and both have big games tomorrow. It's crazy that they were high school teammates and in the same graduating class.

Hoping to see Tech get one against Chapel Hill today. Would go a long way toward restoring some confidence in Fuente. Hooker is good to go and expected to start.

Won't know until an hour before kick, but expected to still have ~20 players out for Covid, including most of the backfield. No excuses.

Looks like decent chance of rain. Hoping for a torrential downpour.

Dad and his wife coming stopping by for brunch on their fall migration from MN to AZ, so I'll be watching in "DVR time" sometime tonight.

The Clemson - Miami game I'm conflicted over. As an ACC fan, I know it's probably best for the conference for Clemson to be #1. OTOH, I still have the VT attitude from 20 years ago of "nobody's allowed to beat Miami except us".

Looking forward to B1G, Pac and MWC football on the slate over coming weeks.

Lincoln Riley was born in Lubbock but played in ****ing Muleshoe, I never knew that. Doesn't matter, he better win today. Going to 1-3 would be a bad look.

There looks to be the most fans I've seen so far this football season in attendance in Dallas for the OU/Texas game.

Hokies should appreciate his Dad stopping by today since UNC leads 21-0 at the end of the 1Q. Rattler had a pass picked and returned to the 10 despite OU leading 10-0 at the end of the 1Q. Rattler keeps this INT thing up, he might not be the starting QB much longer.

Rattler has another turnover. Texas managed three off the first turnover will they get a TD to tie the game?

If OU loses this one, the OU fans will be howling for Rattler to be benched.

Edit: now tied 10-10.

Morcdeai is at QB for the Sooners but because a doc is seen checking on Rattler.

OU marches down the field and the RB fumbles the ball & recovered by UT. UT goes three and out and OU blocks the punt. OU scores and it's 17-10 OU.

I think OU has a QB controversy right now because Morcedai isn't turning the ball over like Rattler is.

VT cut it to 21-14 but UNC just had a quick drive to go back up by 2 TDs. UNC having a lot of success running the ball so far

Duff may have it right, at least right now.
He sure doesn't seem to have "it."
Rattler just doesn't seem to have the awareness to go with his talent.

He may be one of those guy who was so much better in HS than anybody he played that he could do whatever he wanted, never had to deal with adversity.

Those OU QBs don't have "it". Might be a recruiting issue and I agree Riley might just bail out of college football to the NFL.
