Best 3pt shooting team in the conference and worst 2pt shooting team in the conference (despite J40).

That's what happens when you don't have a guard who can finish at the rim. This team misses so many layups.

UCLA goes on their own 6-0 run?

Now 9-0.


But tad is a good game day coach. Yup
 
We call a play to post up Scott. He fights and gets great position. We don't give him the ball. Shoot a long 2, miss, UCLA hits a 3 in transition. ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Turnovers had been better for a while and then 2 straight.

Down 16. Perimeter defense has been atrocious. UCLA shooting 7/9 from 3pt range.
 
Good thing we had a play there for the last 15 seconds.

Buffs shot 7/15 from 3pt range in the 1st half. I'll take that every time.

But 3/17 from 2pt range. How is that even possible?

Winning the glass (by 2). Have 1 more assist than UCLA. 6 turnovers is a number you can live with on the road.

Defense and poor shooting inside the arc are the story of this sh!t show.
 
Why the **** do we bother to play zone?????

We are a bad team right now.
 
Everyone agrees Tad is a terrible gameday coach. But I have just enough faith go think he recognizes Josh is how our offense gets going. Get the ball to him in the post. Either he takes his guy or he finds the open man.

If he can't recognize where our offense comes from, let's just call it a season.
 
This is an NIT team. Sure, we have spurts where we can look like a Sweet 16 contender, but lots of teams do that. Lots. The level of your talent generally shows itself over the course of a full season and we're just not there. Guard play is near the bottom of the Pac 12. Our ceiling will continue to be very low as long as that is the case.

It is fun to watch a team that actually practices offense.

Maybe we should try that, since all that defense practice we've been doing is going so well
