Colorado Buffaloes @ The UW Huskies 2014 Basketball Game thread

Buffs 29-26 at the half. Fletcher also tweaked his knee. Stalzer seeing some minutes with Dinwiddie out.

Need two frosh to step up. Jelly, Wes, and XJ need to keep controlling the boards.

Karma to the Mayor. Hope he's okay.

That Spencer injury looked a lot like Gallinari's injury for the Nuggets last year....sending positive karma his way and hoping for the best

Gordon with 9 points, 11 boards and several blocks in the first half. Buffs by 3 without Spencer.

That didn't look good, re: Spencer.

I had just mentioned to Hawt about 2 minutes before Spencer went down how poor that floor must be given the number of times the players were slipping.

I wonder if Spencer somehow sensed, subconsciously or not, that there was a problem (tightness) in that knee and eased off the throttle last game?

and it seemed liked the Buffs were slipping the most

looked a little like a hyper extension, but the look on his face when he first went down was not good at all

probably not. It would have shown in practices

More realistically, could the different shoes have had an impact? Gotta believe they had seen practice time.

Well, it's a good thing that basically we won the WSU game without Spencer, hopefully we can pull this off without him for real today.

The future...? ugh, I hate the thought of being without him.
