(Colorado Football gets) No Respect

I get the USC pick...it's not an unlikely outcome from the non-homer perspective. But Utah? It is disrespectful to pick a team that has no chance at all, over our Buffs. Sad

I do agree with the OP a bit, though, in the sense that CU doesn't get mentioned in the playoff or Rose Bowl discussion. But CU is getting tons of respect otherwise. I just think the media guys can't get their hands wrapped around the Buffs. I think their mindset is, "Great story, but they'll finally lose this week."

Exactly. Not understanding the disrespect angle if it plays out that way.

Just win.
The disrespect angle is that not one online publication thinks we will win two in a row, and some don't even think we can win our next game. One publication still thinks Utah will be in the Rose Bowl even after this weekend. That's disrespect (and cluelessness).

The stink of 10 years doesn't wash away with The Rise when many of CU's games are buried on the PAC 12 network.

The OOC loss to Michigan has been the most available datapoint for just about everyone east of the Nebraska state line.

CU wins the Pac-12 championship ship game and they play in the Rose Bowl. Lose to Utah or either Washington team and it is a mid tier bowl. Why get your panties all twisted up over some media outlet predicting bowl games other than to manufacture anger?

It'd be nice if winning a division counted for more than just getting to play the conference championship game. Especially when a team that could jump you is in the same division.

According to the NCAA, it can (but down't look likely). We just need the Rose Bowl selection committee to fall in love with the idea of CU representing the Pac-12 if we don't win the next two games. That said, win 'em both and blow all the doubters' minds.

As far as who goes to what bowl..... don't forget that U$C has more friends in tv network places then we ever will.....

What the **** is a championship ship game? Is it like a championship game of this?

This USC resurgence is killing me with all the arrogant Trojan fans that are coming back with it.

Yeah they look dangerous but still got embarrassed by Bama and have 3 losses.

The Rose Bowl is required to pick the highest ranked PAC team if the conference champion goes to the playoff, so the question is if USC jumps us if we win the South, but lose the CCG.
Highest ranked according to CFP?

Highest ranked according to CFP?

Highest ranked PAC team should be the runner-up, I hate all this human element crap. You come in 2nd in your conference but some turd in a suit can vote someone in over you? That's nonsense. You play the game on the field and you proved yourself by winning your division. What's the point of playing in divisions if they don't mean ****?

What's the point of playing head to head if it doesn't mean ****?

Sigh...I just watched a 3 - 4 minute segment on P12 and almost the only mention of CU in the various champion scenarios was how the only the only way for USC to advance was for Colorado to lose. They talked about Utah still potentially influencing things and how Wazzou might win the Apple Cup, but they seem to give us almost no credence to win the South, let alone the P12 championship.

I love that. No one give CU anything. They have to take it. And as much as they may try to avoid all this stuff, they see it. They know. Chip on their shoulders is growing.

Alex kelley today at the press conference was awesome. "IF we don't win on Saturday, then we haven't won the south. We haven't done anything other than win a bunch of games."
No built in excuses for this group. Just a chip on their shoulder and a goal in their mind.
