Colorado Men's Basketball at Arizona Official Game thread

Intentional foul on that after they missed the push off. This is an absolute joke. Just wow.
 
BS call at the end but cu shot 2 for 8 from the stripe in the last minute and ot. Still, bullchit loss, should be celebrating a road win over the number 3 team in the country and 1-0 in conference.
 
Funny how ESPN mysteriously suddenly hides the replay that clearly shows Chen got it off.

Heart breaking loss. We will learn from this. These officials are bull****.
 
Total horse **** call to end the half but we HAVE to start hitting the FTs down the stretch to close games out. Hit those and we don't take the risk of letting the refs **** us over.
 
Brutal loss....would have been a huge way to start conference play and back in top 25. Oh well, use this as motivation the rest of the way.
 
Sure, if we hit our FTs then we win, if we do something else, we win.....

But you're playing the #3 team in THEIR house, it is going to be tough sledding. You do everything your power then hit the game winner, only to get ****ed over. GMAFB

I guess I have the opposite view of this as most fans. Yes, the refs were terrible. Yes, our players could have made a few more free throws and won it that way too.

But this loss is on Tad Boyle

We let teams back in games too often and you knew eventually it was going to cost us. Did it against Arizona last year. Did it in the tourney against UNLV. Did it early in the year against Baylor. You know that sooner or later it was going to cost us, and hopefully the pain of it costing us will get this team to develop a killer instinct.

We should NOT have lost this game. We were the better team.

Problem is that the clock in the lower right was off by about .05 seconds from the one on the backboard. Expand that view and look at the side view of the backboard clock. That is the one to look at... OBTW, he still got it off.

We didn't lose this game. Look at the pic above your post. The refs literally gave it to Zona.

Agreed, I almost always say that players should survive a bad call but that was brutal. Particularly bad considering how long they reviewed it. You can see the ball out of his hand with time on the clock nuff said easy call on tape. The refs from this game need to be reviewed and have their bank accounts checked,
 
Those refs should be ashamed. Buffs put on a good show but didn't handle pressure at the end or play any defense in the last 3 minutes. Buffs are getting closer to being really good though. Hopefully they use this game to be angry at the rest of the conference.

If you allow home refs to make a call that came down to less then 0.1 tenths of a second, with the home crowd screaming in their ear that it is no good.... it is not often they are going to side with the road team. That is college basketball.

It NEVER should have came down to that. We basically play the basketball equivalent of prevent defense, and with our free throw shooting let them back in the game. We play no defense late.

Mike Bohn should lodge a formal protest with the conference. The result of the game will not be reversed ... but it is not unprecedented for conferences to admit officiating mistakes, particularly when they are this egregious.

If he does and the conference does in fact admit that an egregious error was committed, it will negate any bragging rights that AZ fans can claim for this "victory" ... and further ignite the passion in the team and the fans when the Mildcats come to the Keg. We need to turn this into a positive.


I would suggest that everyone email MB tonight about this ... and give him no choice but to protest.
 
They called it good on the floor and they still waved it off? I don't see how you can see a conclusive evidence that Chen didn't get it off on time? All the pics I see on twitter shows there still time left when Chen let it go.
