COLORADO v Michigan OFFICIAL Game Thread

Yes, we've made lots of mistakes. But you're also seeing far superior athleticism and depth take over the game. Not a surprise. We played flawless to start, and that will overcome deficiencies ... for awhile. Too many superior athletes on their side.
Why do you say FAR superior? Except for Peppers, we have somewhat equal talent. None of Michigan's players match up with Chido, their WR are not better than ours. This is a game of field position and mistakes. If Colorado would just run the ball and could punt even average this would be different. Michigan is NOT so far ahead of us.

Part of this is on the coaches. The rugby punt is stupid. Michigan has started every drive on our side every drive since halfway through 1st quarter. Special teams screwed everybody, then offense shut it down and keep putting defense in bad spots. Horrible complimentary football.

This is a much better game than I expected. The way it's gone down is frustrating, but these guys belong. They need to start believing that again.

We are down 3. Stop with the over dramatization. D is playing lights out. Michigan was getting great field position the whole 2nd quarter. Gotta flip the field position and stop the shooting yourself in the foot. Still in this
It's over. Michigan scored to take the lead right before halftime. They have all the Mo, home field and better talent. Game. Set. Match.

A lot of mistakes in generous, and a couple of them have been egregious. The Leavitt penalty, and the general ineptitude while punting, especially the 2nd one are really bad.
I can live with the missed FG, a holding penalty or two, missing a receiver on a few throws, etc. but they all seem so much worse when you're compounding them with the really bad mental mistakes.

As mad as I was in the moment about kneeling down, I'm okay with it now. We needed halftime there to calm down and plan for the opening drive. If the offense gets back in rhythm, I like our chances, because Michigan seems due for a mistake of some kind.

Truth. I was hoping momentum and solid execution would carry us. Michigans athletes really stood out as the half went on.

The rugby punt has worked every time that Kinney didn't shank it. As slow as he was to get off the first kick, it would be stupid to keep trying that.

You guys are ridiculous. I'm disappointed too, but we are down by 3 at half on the road to a top five team. This is a team that hasn't made a bowl game in an eternity keep that in mind.
Obviously, the big picture needs to be met in mind. However, when we're leading a team 21-7 and have made so many avoidable mistakes that could have made the lead so much bigger, this is the reaction you're going to see.

Concerned about the second half getting out of hand. We came out with a fire and seemed to get concerned about holding onto the lead rather than adding to it. Terrible tackling and swarming on those outside runs

Great first quarter, bad second. That pick up of the flag sucked. Stay strong buffs, you can do this.

*Been waiting three weeks to say something negative*

*one bad pass*

"Oh! Sefo sucks haha!"

* nailed it*
More than one bad pass. He missed on a would be 3rd down conversion in the 1st quarter right before the blocked punt, and there have been others. Overall, he's be fine.

It's kind of like Sefo is the best QB on the roster, but we'd be thrilled to replace him with a transfer if we could.
