Am I allowed to utter the name "Davis Webb"?Losing Apsay hurts. Montez needs at least two more redshirts.

Was he going to set the edge on run plays for the defense? If sefo is in, we win or lose by 3.
Does the defense wear down if not for the special teams blunders? Michigan would have been throwing to get back into the game instead of running and hitting play action. The entire game unfolds differently without the punting gaffes.Too easy to write this off as special teams and losing Sefo. The defense wore down as the game went on.
Somebody said season ending earlier, forget who, and what their source was.
Diego out for the year? Holy hell
Torn Achilles. So, yeah, season-ending
Quotes?Holy sheet, Shay Fields calling everyone out on post game
Yes and I'm already tired of having any potential failure moving forward excused by Sefo's injury and possible absence. If we don't make a bowl game, don't beat Oregon, etc, it's a team failure and not a sad case of "what would happened if Sefo had played." Sefo has been great but I'm not convinced he won't have periodic lapses that cost us games the last couple of years. Also given the importance of the QB position, not having a suitable backup is a team (coaching staff) failure. What about Montez playing more in garbage time v CSU?Too easy to write this off as special teams and losing Sefo. The defense wore down as the game went on.
Is Shay Fields calling out Shay Fields for dropping the ball on 3rd down on Montez's first possesion? You know, that one that went through his hands, hit him in the numbers and bounced to the turf.Holy sheet, Shay Fields calling everyone out on post game
Of course the final score is different without the gaffes on special teams, but yes, the defense was getting gassed and that was happening anyway.Does the defense wear down if not for the special teams blunders? IMHO, this roster is as good as it's been since Hawkins took over. This program was so far in the dumps that I still think Mac deserves another season even if they finish 3-9 or 4-8.Yes and I'm already tired of having any potential failure moving forward excused by Sefo's injury and possible absence. Not trying to say Sefo's absence doesn't matter, of course it does, just not looking forward to hearing that as the excuse for every upcoming failure.
I'm not doubting you, but after reading that on here, I was thinking that was weird since I saw him standing on the sideline late in the game with his shoulder pads on.[/QUOTE
Was what was reported by mark Johnson on KOA fwiw.
Basically said they didn't have confidence in Montez.Quotes?
We took the lead in the third quarter.Tired of playing not to lose big. We waved the white flag right before half time when WAC Mac decided to stop playing to win, and that was before the sefo injury. We also had a glimpse of our future qb who didn't really do anything at all...yikes
