How does everyone feel about the return to the Big 12?

Here in Sooner land - it has been pretty well received. With the loss of Texas and OU - it seems like most people around here are happy to see the Pac12 teams coming.
 
We ran 5 times in the first half. All QB reads from shotgun, I think (which seems to be the run play in this offense). Are we simply waiting for McCaskill before even trying or what?
 
Is mcCaskill out b/c of injury while at Houston and still recovering/rehabbing? Or something else?
