Not in any way saying that he isn't an outstanding prospect and his mobility will serve him well in the pros but he is going to have some adjusting to do.Except Caleb Williams does a lot of work outside the pocket.
Heard a statistic the other day. Said that in the modern era of the NFL draft there have been 24 QBs drafted #1 overall. Of those QBs a total of one (1) had a winning season as a rookie, That one was Andrew Luck who went to a team in Indy that had been over .500 multiple prior seasons before the year that Payton was out with an injury setting them up for the pick.
Williams has everything you want in a QB prospect but he will have a big adjustment going from a team that has better talent at almost every position to a team that was one of the NFLs worst.
