My best friend is an Aussie and played AFL. His season tickets are right next to mine. He won't take credit for Vassett, thinks he's terrible this year and says there are 4 dozen 18 year old Aussies you could snatch and bring here right now that are 10x better than Vassett without ever taking a snap. I trust his assessment.

We got sold a lemon with Vassett.

Wasn't he all ACC last year? I expected more.
 
Today was a good day.

The team played well after stepping on their dick the first quarter.

The weather was perfect.

Mrs skibum enjoyed the game.

Stopped at a brewery on the way home and the gf fry truck was there, so Mrs skibum was also able to eat fried chicken and fried pickles.

Then I got one of those very lucky magic high speed drives over berthoud - only reason to hit brakes was the corners, caught up to traffic at the very last hairpin.

The trajectory is good.

We're gonna go bowling this year, and threaten, if not make, the playoff next year.

We had Argus in 216 escorting people out. Third straight game that Argus or LE have removed fighters. It’s getting kind of old.

Sorry to hear that. It's getting old, but when I'm only paying $300 a ticket for a season, I guess that comes with the territory. Probably will try to "upgrade" next year, but may be tough.

Also the downside to insufficient restrooms, insufficient concessions, and no re-entry.

1 and 2 mean people are irritated. 3 means people get LOADED before getting into the game to avoid paying $15 for a beer.

Sorry to hijack the thread. I am just surprised that it's been this drastic of a difference. In my 20 years of going to games, I think there was maybe once or twice there was an asshole in my section that irritated me. This year, something has happened in every game and it's been a different "CU fan". Oh well comes with the territory.
 
I haven’t read this thread, and definitely won’t be, but does anyone know why we’re seeing such limited carries for Alton?

I didn't notice that today but maybe I was too far gone lol.

Whatever they did with the student entrance seemed to work as the tunnels on the East side weren't nearly as packed as they were the first 2 games.

Most of the good couch refs I know will say that couch reffing is more of an art than a science. I think a good couch ref takes all of the circumstances into consideration. It sounds easy, but it's really difficult to do in real time.
 
Had some security morons try to tell me my clear bag with spare pull-ups and toddler necessities wasn’t allowed, even though it was 12x6x12 and some try hard supervisor came over with a brochure that said CU changed the rules and bag weren’t allowed when literally on the brochure showed it was allowed. ****ing idiots all of them.

Rows 70 and 71 in 216. There was a CU fan and his GF sitting behind SC fans. I’m not sure what went down. Argus escorted the CU guy and his GF out. The guy was trying to explain his side.

A few minutes later Argus returned and escorted the SC fans out. Pretty much the same location where we saw the ‘braska fans getting into it with Buff fans.

I hate USC with a fiery passion. I saw no behavior from their fans or team today that bugged me.
