Congratulations, Coach Tucker

That said, that quote they put up on the screen with MT basically stating that SEC is god and the PAC12 is "Tennis shoe" league was a bad look. Just because you were an assistant coach in an overrated conference doesn't mean you should bad mouth your own team's conference. Goodness I am p***** about that.
No matter how you slice it, it was a classless comment. Tough take coming from the guy in the projects of Scary Indiana
Larry Scott? Is that you?

Not to pile on HCMM, but my opinion is if he was the coach last night, we would have lost that game.

I was impressed with CSU’s game plan and they actually have some playmakers. They were pumped up and punched us in the mouth a couple times in the first half. MacIntyre teams didn’t respond well to that and would start to tighten up. Mel and the coaches stuck with their plan and kept the team focused and in the end the talent won out.

Random observations -
- Lang had a significant impact and looked like the best DL. Nice to see.
- Montez was the weakest link on offense last night and his decision making was not sharp. Should’ve ended the night with at least two picks. Additionally, his body language sucks after stalled drives.
- LBs are swimming right now. Mel talks about “see ball, hit ball”, we might need more of that for awhile.
- It was refreshing to see Tucker win his first game and not get caught up in the emotion of it. He was focused on making improvements and getting ready for next week. He expected to win.

Agree with this-Rammie is better than I think we thought going in. Colin Hill is a good college qb, and that Dante Wright kid is going to be good. Gotta think the coaches will simplify a bit to help the kids get into position for success going into the nub game.

Congrats, coaches.

Seemed like we were kind of vanilla and the lambs were pulling out all the stops but what do I know.

Team punched, got punched back and kept responding. No give up.

Vanilla: I think that's why we saw relatively little of Shanault

I think Nebraska was trying not to give us much in the way of tape either. Props to the team for taking the best CSU had and still winning by 21, but we've got some work to do before the nubs come in here next weekend.

Congrats coach Tucker! I don't know who the announcers were last night but they both said that after interviewing Tucker they were convinced he's going to be a superstar coach. Everything I've seen so far has greatly impressed me and he is going to take us to great places very soon

I do agree with the idea that we didn’t open up the playbook much in order to have an advantage next week.

The evidence to me is not featuring Stanley much and really not running many legit routes, including limited field time for Arias. Most of what we ran on offense was just runs up the gut, with a few wrinkles here and there.

I bet we see a lot more variety this week, particularly with the slot receivers over the middle.

New poster here. Very happy for Coach Tucker and the team. The halftime adjustments were much better than anything we've seen in years and it made a huge difference in the second half. I love his attitude and his high expectations. George hired the right guy and I believe this guy can get us back to where we belong.

Man it was really nice to see Coach Tuck lift the Centennial Cup. First game, first win, won against our in-state rival when it was expected by the fans, his team.

I actually was feeling kinda pessimistic like many/most of y’all while I was watching, but you know what, I think we’re on the right track. Might be a bit of a rough season, but I think we’re on the right track.

I agree to an extent-the emphasis on the run was Tucker and OCJJ proving a point.....this team is going to be physical and we will run the ball.
