Completely agree. That is wayyy over the top. It's not like they were wearing thongs, their asses were covered just as much as they are in their cheerleading uniforms.

Reading the article does make me wonder what else the squad may have done over the past couple of years if the uni was already looking for reasons to shut them down.

I think I recall that this chick is actually a porn actress that just happens to look a lot like an actual ASU cheerleader. So similar, in fact, that they actually made a video and she wore the ASU cheerleader outfit in it. IIRC, it caused a real stir at ASU with this particular girl.

From the link master posted, I got the impression that she actually was an ASU cheerleader, but quit to pursue a porn career..
 
ASU must be taking lessons from CU and Duke - punish them all regardless of circumstances or guilt - Puritanism run amuck. Those pics are no different than being in a swim suit and ....2 years old. I doubt they would have gone that nuts at BYU!

My wife, an ASU grad just said, and I quote: "I've never been prouder of my school--I might even buy a T-shirt or watch a game this year".

She also suggested that she would have tried out for the squad if she knew what they did at their parties...uh...I gotta go...
