CSU at Mile High is now the 2nd game for the Rams

Good or bad for CU that the Rams are playing an opener vs OSU ahead of the RMS?

Must be a slow day for some attempting high level thinking.
Nice try though. Next time come up with something new.
GBR!

what are two phrases that are never used in the same sentence?

CSU's new stadium looking good...now why do we have this game in Denver instead of on campus stadiums?

Looks good - I just don't like the layout. Stadiums should be built for noise for a home-field advantage - the crowd seems too far from the field to be disruptive & both ends being open won't trap noise in.

Which is good for us when we head up there eventually.

It's a nice looking stadium. It should work well for them. I just hope they didn't bank on a P5 invite to pay for the thing.

I thought it looked pretty plain up until that flyby - now I do think it has a nice design.

Thanks to the NIMBY types!

Should position them well in the Mountain West for the next decade.

Perhaps they would have been relegated to the Big Sky Conference eventually if they didn't get a new stadium so kudos to them.

Within the context of it being an existing contract they wouldn't want to break, yes. The problem with a home&home setup was always that Hughes couldn't provide CU with a reasonable guarantee back.

This stadium doesn't change much for that though, we all know if CU played there they would sell the standing room only seats so people would be all over the grass hill which would have been around 40,000, now the new stadium can hold 41,000 with SRO so I still don't think it is viable for a long term contract.

The important thing is that CSU thinks things are different now with its revenue model and will agree to a much larger payday to visitors.
