Actually, I would give some thought to making that trip. I have not been back to H-town in a long time. The weather sucks, but the food and bar scene is outstanding.

If it is a morning game, I expect Kolaches, Shipley donuts and biscuits and gravy. I'll bring the Tequila. If I'm still here, I'll play Sackman for the tailgate. Brisket tacos for everyone!
You'll drink Lone Star and like it.If it is a morning game, I expect Kolaches, Shipley donuts and biscuits and gravy. I'll bring the Tequila.
Been a long time since I had a Lone Star...maybe I can get John Evans to do a gig at the tailgate. Blue Bell Ice Cream for everyone! You'll drink Lone Star and like it.
You might want to bring a light jacket if it rains.Houston in early September, what could go wrong?
By the time this game rolls around, my RV will have the pontoons attached. You might want to bring a light jacket if it rains.
Good excuse to visit Cougar High’s new stadium, which is just 8mi from SWA friendly Hobby airport.
Maybe tour NASA or catch & release some toxic red snapper off the ship channel end of Galveston Island.
Easy-peasy football weekend for CU’s Lone Star refugees.
Cheap to fly in and out. Tons to do. Houston Rocks.. except for the muggy air and being in a 10 lane wide traffic jam.
I do not. I repeat. I DO NOT MISS THAT. My uncle (UH grad) had a 2 hour commute one way to work when I was a kid (mid 70's). He worked for Gulf Oil and lived in Bellaire area of H-Town.Yep.
Where was he commuting to, Louisiana? I live just south of Bellaire, and my commute to downtown is like 25 minutes.I do not. I repeat. I DO NOT MISS THAT. tcu or smu would be nice additions as well. Truly is a recruiting hotbed.

North Texas was founded as a teacher college and has a big greek scene. It has better talent.I’d like to see CU-NT again, although North Texas doesn’t have as good talent as Houston does.
Already have TCU booked...28 I believe.tcu or smu would be nice additions as well. Truly is a recruiting hotbed.
It's not inconceivable that Houston is P5 by then. Not everyday you see a 12 game P5 schedule...If I read our OOC schedule correctly for 26, it's Houston, Georgia Tech, and Northwestern. ****.
