I'm going to assume Dr Schwartz understands the importance of strong sports programs as the "front porch to the university" because:
As long as we have the Schwartz with us, we good
As long as we have the Schwartz with us, we good
A ham sandwich is better than DiStefano and this guy likely met Prime and gets the marriage of Sports and Academics
I'm pretty sure the Schwartz doesn't eat ham sandwiches.
My fourth grade teacher showed us “Spaceballs” not knowing what it was about or how vulgar it was.
The Chancellor has a lot of sayExactly how much say and/or influence does a chancellor have on the athletic department? To me, his/her primary job is to manage the academics of the university.
Certainly, the chancellor wants athletics to represent the university well, but that should be the purview of the AD who would answer to the chancellor.
So, that said, I want a chancellor who manages academics, prioritizes students, increases diversity, keeps education as affordable as possible, and improves the academic standard of the university.
As for athletics, support the AD and don’t mess it up.
How about admissions? I had a CU professor tell me that CU-B puts a lot of power in the Provost, unlike a lot of universities, and the Chancellor doesn't have as much power there as I'd think. The Chancellor has a lot of say
So Phil was batting 0.0 against this list. How in the ever living **** did that douche keep his job?Exactly how much say and/or influence does a chancellor have on the athletic department? To me, his/her primary job is to manage the academics of the university.

The last chancellor veto’d firing of assistant and head coaches during his tenure.Exactly how much say and/or influence does a chancellor have on the athletic department? To me, his/her primary job is to manage the academics of the university.

At CU, the Chancellor's are just below God.How about admissions? I had a CU professor tell me that CU-B puts a lot of power in the Provost, unlike a lot of universities, and the Chancellor doesn't have as much power there as I'd think.
The kids are alright.I would just like to share that DiStefano was heavily booed today by the students, at his final commencement.
They know
And just like that, the Dr. Phil Reign of Terror ends.
