Sowder, Kap, and Tedford are the only exciting names on this list.
”We’re really proud to introduce Mike as our new OC and we’re convinced Mike is gonna be a great hire for us because he knowns the state well”
Maybe he has a house here?THIS IS NOT REMOTELY IN THE REALM OF FUNNY.
Sowder has the energy, enthusiasm, and innovation.Tedford would be incredible. He is the lead dawg to get the Fresno State job (again).
None of the above for me. It's a weak list of 10. A bunch of 60 year old guys past their prime and younger failures. The only bright spot is the OC from Kent State, and he does not have experience at this level. Burn that list and start over. If Dorrell chooses the guy who replaced him in Miami as WR coach, I'm moving to Hawaii and will root for that squad. I thought RG said a splash hire, not fat old guys who create a big splash in the pool.Sowder
Mumme
Tedford
Wristen
Kap
in that order for me
We have to hope that he’s healthy enough to coach but doesn’t want the 100 hour a week year round grind of being a head coach.Tedford would be incredible. He is the lead dawg to get the Fresno State job (again).
100% correct.Sowder has the energy, enthusiasm, and innovation.
Tedford has seen it all and done it all. QBs would develop spectacularly.
Kap would revitalize the RPO game and bring back some great OL coaching.
The rest feel like more slog.
Bobo would be a big upgrade. Not top of my list, but he's better than what we've put up with recently.
Agreed, but he's still an upgrade.I can assure you that we want no part of Bobo at CU.
Give me four reasons Tedford will not be the choice.Tedford would be hard to argue with. Instant credibility in CA. Elite QB Coach. KD would be incredibly comfortable with his offensive system. Someone who has the gravitas that would force everyone at CU to listen to him.
1. No known ties to Bill McCartney.Give me four reasons Tedford will not be the choice.
Agreed, but he's still an upgrade.
I’ll be seeing this guy do improvised sketch comedy live on Sunday!
I prefer the term bufflukewarm.'Hot' Board seems to be a misnomer for the thread title.
1. No known ties to Bill McCartney.
2. More qualified to be our Head Coach than the man occupying the chair.
3. Commands a big salary.
4. CU is too infuriatingly stressful for a man with his health history to risk.
Yeah. I think that's what will actually happen.1A. He is the lead candidate for the Fresno State HC gig.
Wonder if his previous health scares will make him seek out more assistant coach gigs to avoid some of the stress being the head man.1A. He is the lead candidate for the Fresno State HC gig.

Alright then…never mind.He is actively pushing to get the gig or another HC gig if not FSU.
I concur. His recruiting days are way past and he’s not prepared to be a P5 Pac 12 OC.Hell no to Wristen.
Marion is a high energy guy who is also one of the better young offensive minds around. If he doesn't get the Temple HC job, I think we'd be pretty happy if we landed him as OC. He could coach QB or WR.Almost certainly signifying nothing, but noticed KD now appears to be following/followed by Brennan Marion (Pitt WR coach). I believe someone here suggested this guy as a possibility for OC with his ”GoGo offense” he developed at some smaller schools earlier in his career. Really young guy, so this might be too big of a leap for him, but he’s seemingly regarded as an up and comer.
