Sowder, Kap, and Tedford are the only exciting names on this list.

Tedford would be incredible. He is the lead dawg to get the Fresno State job (again).
Maybe he has a house here?
can we just have Tedford as HC?
Sowder has the energy, enthusiasm, and innovation.
Tedford has seen it all and done it all. QBs would develop spectacularly.
Kap would revitalize the RPO game and bring back some great OL coaching.
The rest feel like more slog.
None of the above for me. It's a weak list of 10. A bunch of 60 year old guys past their prime and younger failures. The only bright spot is the OC from Kent State, and he does not have experience at this level. Burn that list and start over. If Dorrell chooses the guy who replaced him in Miami as WR coach, I'm moving to Hawaii and will root for that squad. I thought RG said a splash hire, not fat old guys who create a big splash in the pool.
We have to hope that he’s healthy enough to coach but doesn’t want the 100 hour a week year round grind of being a head coach.

Give me four reasons Tedford will not be the choice.
1. No known ties to Bill McCartney.
2. More qualified to be our Head Coach than the man occupying the chair.
3. Commands a big salary.
4. CU is too infuriatingly stressful for a man with his health history to risk.

Wonder if his previous health scares will make him seek out more assistant coach gigs to avoid some of the stress being the head man.

I concur. His recruiting days are way past and he’s not prepared to be a P5 Pac 12 OC.

Almost certainly signifying nothing, but noticed KD now appears to be following/followed by Brennan Marion (Pitt WR coach). I believe someone here suggested this guy as a possibility for OC with his ”GoGo offense” he developed at some smaller schools earlier in his career. Really young guy, so this might be too big of a leap for him, but he’s seemingly regarded as an up and comer.
Marion is a high energy guy who is also one of the better young offensive minds around. If he doesn't get the Temple HC job, I think we'd be pretty happy if we landed him as OC. He could coach QB or WR.
