Heh - true story: when I was a student, Chip came up into the stands before the game. We had a beer bong with us. Dude tips back the chip head, does a full beer bong, and goes back to being Chip. Hilarious. That might have been the day he got escorted out of the stadium in handcuffs. My memory of that specific day is a little hazy.

One year Oski had had too much to drink before one of our Bball games when we were playing OSU. Gary Payton was their point guard, he went to Skyline HS in Oakland and his Mom was in attendance, behind the OSU bench. It was someone's birthday, they had a large sheet cake, and Oski hurls it into the stands by his Mom after they sing Happy Birthday. Not a great moment in mascot history, or for whatever student was in the Oski outfit that night. It hit the fan after that.....
Mascots have to take a breathalyzer test when entering stanford stadium, because of the tree. No joke.

rumor from the stanford band (the people who make the tree) is there is a pocket in each iteration of the costume to fit a 1.75L bottle.
