I disagree because of the CFP, the Portal, and look at NU.Unfortunately if not in the BIG10 or SEC you lose.

From what I saw yesterday from Canzano the debate to expand is between more CFP revenue (stay at 10) vs more media revenue (expand to 12 or more).
I think they need more media revenue and I don’t think it hurts any existing teams chances to make the CFP if they do expand as those teams will struggle as they ramp up (easy wins).
And then there is another shakeup on the pacs board of directors.
Stanfords president is now forced to resign. Ba boom...tish.
Stanford president resigns over manipulated research
Stanford President Marc Tessier-Lavigne will resign effective Aug. 31. He will also retract or issue lengthy corrections to five widely cited papers for which he was principal author after a Stanford-sponsored investigation found “manipulation of research data.”stanforddaily.com

Canzano and wilner are idiots. They have one agenda and that is protecting themselves by trying to be relative, which both are not.
Rome always used to say “have a take, and don’t suck”. Fred has one of those covered.Have you tried talk radio? I think you would be a fantastic regular caller!
I’d ask who you go to for news coverage but I’m picturing it’s the equivalent of a raccoon sifting through trash.Canzano and wilner are idiots. They have one agenda and that is protecting themselves by trying to be relative, which both are not.
That's a great story. I never knew. That fvcking guy. You'll find no one defending him. Kudos to Buffs4Life and everyone who has donated to make sure the kid (Chancellor Lee) has been provided for. The Carolina Panthers have also stepped up. It was great to see the stories of him graduating from HS. Rae can rot in hell.

For someone in the sevice class you have a good deal of surfaced rage. It would probably be better for you if you hid it more convincingly.Canzano and wilner are idiots. They have one agenda and that is protecting themselves by trying to be relative, which both are not.

It is getting harder to sedate some of these worker bees.Easy for you to say if the state he lives in doesn't allow recreational use of a certain plant.

really appreciate this vibe. For someone in the sevice class you have a good deal of surfaced rage. It would probably be better for you if you hid it more convincingly.
Make the CFP money unequal based on you get the most if it's you and get a larger share if you were a bowl team. Reward success and commitment to winning. All those years that CU wasn't pulling its weight, we shouldn't have been getting as much as Oregon from the conference. There needs to be pressure and incentive to perform or losers get too comfortable accepting their current standard while the winners become disgruntled. From what I saw yesterday from Canzano the debate to expand is between more CFP revenue (stay at 10) vs more media revenue (expand to 12 or more).

Stanford doesn't fvck around with that sort of thing. Really bad look for them. I just hope their reaction isn't to become even worse than they've been about blackballing potential Pac members they don't consider academic heavyweights. And then there is another shakeup on the pacs board of directors.

Who is gonna be his replacement on the board? Colorado?Stanford doesn't fvck around with that sort of thing. Really bad look for them. I just hope their reaction isn't to become even worse than they've been about blackballing potential Pac members they don't consider academic heavyweights.
I believe Phil DiStefano (CU Chancellor) already had a leadership position for athletics. I wouldn't want him anyway. But with UW & Stanford reps both stepping down and USC & UCLA ineligible to fill a seat, there are only 8 options. So it's tight. Your guess is as good as mine.Who is gonna be his replacement on the board? Colorado?
Don't they serve on a rotation?I believe Phil DiStefano (CU Chancellor) already had a leadership position for athletics. I wouldn't want him anyway. Probably. But whether that's an invitation or obligation would also come into playDon't they serve on a rotation?
Who's next up ?
Kirk Schulz (WSU) is the current president, Robert Robbins (Arizona) is newly appointed to the board, and Marc Tessier-Lavigne (Stanford) was a member. I don't know the rules if someone gets forced out, but wouldn't it go to the next president of Stanford? Or the interim president?Don't they serve on a rotation?

Personally, I find the PAC media deal interesting in the sense that it is part and parcel with the entire disruption in the film and television industry. Movie theaters are dying, studios can’t count on big budget films to make a return at the box office, streaming is killing cable, sports viewership is in decline, there are demographic shifts in sports, tv, and film viewership, AI is here, writers on strike, you name it. It’s fascinating.Honest question. Do you enjoy following this media deal so closely? I’m not here to yuck any yums, so if that is what you really like spending time on, go for it. But it seems like CU is likely in a pretty good place, just waiting on the data to make a decision. And when the decision is made, I’m sure there will be all sorts of analysis on whether it was the right one or not. But until then, this all seems kind of pointless, doesn’t it? Or am I missing something?
By my count, the presidents of Oregon, Washington, WSU, Arizona, and Stanford have all sat on the exec committee. If Saliman were to step up publicly now would be a good time.I don't think the P12 would want a Colorado rep at this time and perhaps either ASU, Utah, or Oregon State would fill in. I wouldn't trust Stanford or Cal to do the right thing for the conference at this point.
