I'm not saying that all those teams wouldn't have beaten the **** out of us for the last 15 years or so. They would have. That's hardly the point. It's like a collection of the least cool fanbases ever assembled. That used to be KSU's job, but it's like the entire conference has lowered themselves to KSU's level.

Normally I root for our conference mates to perform well in out of conference play. I think I'm just going to abandon that tradition. Who would I root for? OSU? I just looked it up. Did you know that the allegedly racist Mike Gundy is STILL the head coach there? Still in Stillwater. Holy ****! There is nobody I can root for!

Morgantown might be a fun place. Is that the best I can say about this collection of weirdo universities and community colleges? Jesus H!

In 530 pages, "weirdo universities" is the most succinct description of the Big 12.

This is leaving a sinking ship, for a not currently sinking ship. It’s about positioning for the next big move. I think it’s unlikely that the Big12 is still our home in 10 years.

I'm not saying we had a better option. I'm just saying that this ****ing ****hole conference that happens to be our best option is far more uncool than I could have even imagined. And bailer? Are you ****ing ****ting me?

Racist Mike Gundy 🤝racist BYU student section. Didn’t BYU get in trouble for racial slurs against a Duke vball player last year? The. Worst.

I forget who said it (Hank?) but the reason the Big 12 is stable right now is because there is no school of any worth to the SEC or Big10. It’s stable in its suckiness!
 
I don't believe the PAC is a sinking ship and it will remain a P3, but it's definitely going to the bottom of P3s and only being on AppleTV for a subscription will cause them to lose ASU and Arizona and it already costed them Colorado.

Hopefully they maintain Oregon and Washington but if the B1G grabs them, that's 5-7 teams to replace. Damn!

Ultimately, the Elite 2 is where everyone that was a P5 in the old system wants to be.

I’d be satisfied with ASU, UA and UU, but the more that make the move with us, the better. The PAC can survive in a weird, watered down shell of its former self if nobody else goes and they cobble together three mediocre replacements. But if any one of UU,UA, UO, UW, or ASU goes with us, I think the entirety of the conference collapses. That doesn’t make me happy at all, by the way. I think it absolutely sucks that one of the greatest and most tradition rich college athletic conferences of all time just got shafted.

More like it's stable in its mediocrity. Only two teams worth poaching and they're gone. It's just a P5 afterthought.

Oh no question. This is also basically giving Prime everything possible to build this thing into a monster to get it there.

I also think we will not be the only Pac 12 school doing this right now. If this is a Big 18 (add the four corners and UO/UW because I don't think the Big 10 wants them right now), is anybody pissed at that?
