CU Recruiting Hot List 2010

Re: CU Recruiting Hot List

Sat next to the recruits again....they were much more involved, excited & into the game...10X better than last weekend.

The guys that looked to be having the best time and who were cheering and high fiving us during the game were the 3 LA guys....none more so than Legania....hopefully they enjoy the rest of the trip and decide to call CO home!

Nice, rraalph. Good to hear the "potentials" were enjoying themselves. Would love to see Legania commit, fwiw.

Re: CU Recruiting Hot List

Committed TE Kyle Slavin and RB Jeremy Langford have set up official visits for the Nebraska game.

Re: CU Recruiting Hot List

Danny Spond has de-committed and been moved to "Among Favorites".

Re: CU Recruiting Hot List

Updates added:

Alabama LB Nigel Terrell is visiting Dec. 11th weekend. Terrell's a Florida State soft commit with a lot of speed.

California DT Dontrell Onuahu is visiting Dec. 18th weekend. Onuahu's HS coach calls him a "manchild" because of the weight he puts up while running a 5 flat forty at 285 lbs.

Arizona LB Kyle Benson is visiting Dec. 18th weekend. Benson is a big hitter that runs as well as most safeties (4.48 forty reported and 110 meter hurdles runner).

Re: CU Recruiting Hot List

Let's hope Hack knocks it out in recruiting!! A decent class will only help in the long run.

Re: CU Recruiting Hot List

More updates:

Colorado TE Kyle Slavin (CU commit) will be taking his official visit to CU this weekend, December 11th. Slavin has amazing hands but what separated him was his commitment to add muscle/weight and become a great blocker.

Michigan RB Jeremy Langford is visiting the weekend of December 18th. Langford is a speedster, but also a big back and downhill runner. Academic issues slowed his recruiting and he didn't start getting his grades in order until this summer.

Texas DT Eric Humphrey is visiting the weekend of January 22nd. Humphrey blew up his senior year and had 18 sacks in 11 games (no one knew about him before) and his film was just sent out in November. 4* on ESPN, offer list a mile long and CU is definitely a leader.

Very good to hear, especially humphrey from Texas

Visited OU last week. TT this weekend. Arky on the 8th of Jan. Wake Forrest on the 15th (must be a qualifier if he is going to visit there ) and us on the 22nd. This might be an uphill battle, but I like our chances with the last visit. Hopefully he doesn't commit after one of his trips. With Herrod graduating we need a solid contributor to replace him.

Re: CU Recruiting Hot List

California 4* WR Davon Dunn (long-time Cal commit) was a surprise visitor this weekend.

Emerging Colorado OLB Joe Hemschoot was offered a scholarship and has scheduled a visit for January 8th.

Update:

NJ runningback and CU commit Tony Jones will be making an official visit on January 15th.

Great to hear about both! Hemschoot looks like quite a talent. I think the USC coaching change could help us here. Another good WR wont hurt either.

No visitors this weekend.

Weird for the next to last weekend of the recruiting year.

We don't need players. Hawk is going to take a bunch of walk-ons and MAC/WAC guys and out-scheme the Big XII. We just need to take care of some little things, we're about to pop, we're close, we can't get to high or to low, just need to get into our accountability groups and step up.

Updated to include last weekend's visitors. Word is that we want another LB and we'll still pick up an additional guy even if Swilling chooses to go elsewhere.
