Every year people fall for the whole song and dance about S&C and every year it amounts to bill****.

Here are the S&C fan rules.
1. Every program has great S&C programs.
2. There is no, nor will there every be a S&C advantage at any school beyond 1% of the final score.


Thats it. Only two rules.

I'd add one that is absolute.

3. S&C can help a player reach their potential but it can't turn a guy who isn't good enough or talented enough into a guy who is good enough or talented enough. S&C won't turn MWC level talent into PAC12 level football players.

I mean - not only did we lose every game other than Cal, but we were not competitive in ANY of our losses. Every game was over going into the 4th quarter (most going into the 2nd quarter).

If you look at Cal’s season, they were competitive against some good teams.
