CUBuffs.com: Buffs Travel West For NCAA Women's Golf Regionals (May 5 - 7)

Virginia goes up one, as their #5 golfer nets a birdie on her last 3 holes. Looking a little tougher for the Buffs now, with only VA's hot (designated #4, -4 so far for the day) and (designated) #1 golfers yet to finish.

Just because I noted them as a potential threat above, wanted to mention San Jose State ended up at +36, so only Virginia stands in the way of the Buffs advancing.

And Virginia's #1 designated golfer comes in at even, so only their leading golfer in this tournament remains on the course, with the Buffs still down 1.

Heartbreaker.

Looks like Virginia finishes one ahead of the Buffs for the 6th and final NCAA championship berth for the Western Regional.

In any case, GREAT effort by the Buffs today, and they should be VERY proud of their performance this tournament.
