Boom!
do you read? The equivalent to keeping Chev is coming home from a dinner and movie, your 3yr old twins are crying and the baby sitter has 2 empty wine bottles on the table, a joint burning on the ledge, her boyfriend singing in the shower, and old Pearl Jam music on full blast. Do you keep using this baby sitter?

This sounds like one of those "How do you open?" posts. The equivalent to keeping Chev is coming home from a dinner and movie, your 3yr old twins are crying and the baby sitter has 2 empty wine bottles on the table, a joint burning on the ledge, her boyfriend singing in the shower, and old Pearl Jam music on full blast. Not going to happen.Next up? Defensive coordinator
Not as OC.Just checking in. Is Chev still employed by the University of Colorado?
Lots of freak out posts here the last couple weeks when the people that cover the team told us he would not be back. I’m just happy it was quick.I take no pleasure in a former player and alumnus losing his job, but it wasn’t working and over multiple staffs. He got his shot and that’s as much as anyone can ask. Chev did make meaningful contributions and will land on his feet with another staff somewhere else, and will hopefully return to the things that he does very well.
Also, credit where credit is due. Dorrell made a quick decision, and has shown he is willing to make tough staffing decisions (decision not tough, but firing a former player that he coached must’ve been truly awful for him). That should let everyone know that he is invested in trying to right the ship.

Chev could not have been naive enough to think he would return as OC next year.
