Coaches can still call and text recruits, but no other contact before signing day on Wednesday.

Would not be surprised at all if a random name pops up on Wednesday. There is usually one player a year who comes as a "surprise" signing. Offers do happen leading up to and on signing day.

The analogy I would use is that it was more like Christmas as a 5 year old. Today it’s more like Christmas as a 35 year old. The former had a certain amount of innocence and ignorant bliss, with a big reveal at the end whereby you might get that sweet skate board, or a friggin wool sweater. The latter lacks the suspense and build up because you see what’s coming to you weeks and months ahead of time, but it’s cool because you feel much more invested in the big reveal at the end.

Be nice to be able to fill a hole with a grad transfer or February HS recruit after this week -- unless there's someone we haven't heard about they have in their back pocket.
 
Okay, no one will confirm if i can share or not I’ll just go ahead. Sounds like our silent commit (Wright) won’t qualify as they’re concerned about his grades. Curious if we’ll take another guy or wait to see if we can add a grad transfer or 2 if we don’t land Harris as well, if everyone committed signs.

I appreciate your enthusiasm since you've joined the boards man, so not trying to knock you. I'm not sure how others feel, but there's a reason I'm not a paying member of 247, Rivals, or even here. I appreciate all your guys info, but this is Adam's job. From the few people I know that have met him, he seems like a decent guy as well. So while I get there's a 24 hour rule imposed by the mods, I've always thought it should be like a week rule or post-signing day rule. There should be stronger impetus for cheap-asses like me to join buffstampede, and supplying this information after 24 hours, while appreciated, doesn't do that. Just my humble thoughts to the mods at least.

I agree with this part of your post. I don't go to movies on the first day, don't need to buy anything because it's on sale and going fast or the last one and someone else wants to buy it, and I'll probably never pay for recruiting info (more than the fee here to help keep this site going). But this information is livelihood to some people, and others will pay for it..
 
If we feel the need to have more info faster, The Junta just need to unlock the vault and pay suckers off with hookers and blow. Plus, once they're in, they can't get out.



Pretty sure that's why Bread is here.
