Did the Buffs quit against Arizona?

The word Quit has a very different meaning to me Sacky. I cannot buy that and evidently neither do you. Mac is an extremely competitive guy, perhaps to a fault. Your OP stands but the word Quit is misused.

What are you basing this on? The tears? Competitive people do everything possible to win. I see a guy that coaches not to lose, more than he does to win. I've certainly never seen him competitive to a fault.

I thought they quit against CSU last year but I'd say no against Zona. They have some issues but I wouldn't say quit is one of them.

That might have been the lowest point in MM's tenure here - CSU punched us in the mouth enough times that we turtled. That's something we better never see again.

On the positive side, we haven't seen the kids back down from physicality like that since. Now, we've been physically overwhelmed (and I'm afraid we will be again, at least against Stanford), but we haven't backed down.
