For those of you who are new to this - allbuffs has two pairs of tickets that we give away to each home game. The seats for the CSU game are in Section 503, row 25, seats 22-25. The seats at Folsom are in section 210, row 56, seats 21-24. If you want to be considered for the tickets, you need to simply respond in one of the drawing threads in the tailgate forum. The rules are simple: anybody who is an allbuffs member is eligible for the drawing. Those who are registered, but not members, receive one entry. Those who have paid their annual $15 membership fee receive two entries. Those who contributed to the purchase of the tickets receive three entries. You can enter as many times as you like, but you can only win tickets to one game. Fans of other schools are eligible to enter - HOWEVER - they cannot receive tickets to a game that features their particular team. An example of this would be if liveflukes entered for tickets to see CU play Stanford. If CU were playing Cal, he wouldn't be eligible for those tickets. The exception to this rule (and I'm just making this up - I can do that), is if BW happens to win the UW tickets and takes along DD.

We will draw for the winners twice during the season. Once for the first four games at some point in late August. The next drawing will be for the last three games and will take place in mid October. All winners will be announced in the drawing threads. If you enter, please be sure to check the tread from time to time to see if you have won. All winners are expected to verify that they will be able to make the games. In the event that they cannot make the game, they can choose to either donate the tickets back to the pool to be sold or they can find somebody else on the board to use them.

Finally - all tickets must be picked up at the tailgate. Your payment for the tickets is a 12-pack of beer. It must be good beer. No natty lite, Schlitz, or PBR. My personal preference is Sawtooth Ale, but we can make accommodations for other brands. IPAs are hereby banned from all future sackygates. That's trendy, over-hopped crap, but I digress.

Good luck, and feel free to post any questions about the process here and I'll answer them.

And if you win the tickets, but don't pick them up at the tailgate............... well, let us not speak of what happens then.

Anyway - everyone should shower Sackman with rep for this. This is his gig, and he has been organizing it for years.

In! And may the force be with me. And Sacky, that Bombay avatar bottle looks very familiar.

Are said ticket seats within throwing range of the furd band?

If Stanford brings their band, it will be on the exact opposite side of the stadium from where these seats are located.

I'm in. A case of Bombay Sapphire and a 12 pack of Sawtooth for Sacky if I get selected for the furd game.

Bribes are always encouraged.

PS - if you're serious, you need to sign up in the Stanford ticket drawing thread in the tailgate forum.

Sackman, thanks for putting this all together. Rep.

I'm happy to do it. It's one of the things that makes allbuffs a unique site, and far and away the best CU fan site out there. Allbuffs has had season tickets since 2007 or thereabouts. How may fan websites are season ticket holders?

If I win I give one ticket to L Buff and one ticket to Waldo. They each must pick their own ticket up from the tailgate.

You'll need the Vortex Mega Flight, and you'll need to throw it about 90 yards farther than John Elway and 80 yards farther than Not John Elway.

Once again, to those who are replying "in" to this thread - you're not "in" anything until you go to the tailgate forum, pick the game you want to enter, and respond in that thread. This is not a thread that will determine any winners of any tickets.

This needs to be repeated.
