Doesn't seem sporting to me.
We might have to sacrifice “being nice” to win football games. A thought that would have horrified MacIntyre

I have a secret angle of him saying it and it doesn't look good.Did our coach really have the balls to say, "play to the echo of the whistle"?
Yeah. It's going to disturb my delicate sensibilities if other teams' fans start saying that CU is too physical or even *gasp* dirty.
High chance of starting for Trujillo? I disagree. Near 100% chance of playing significant minutes as the 1st backup to either Abrams or Miller, yes. He needs to bulk up a bit between now and then (only 165 I believe) but he will be right behind those two. Perry will start like you saidPerry and Trujillo have a high chance of starting as true freshman it would seem. Have to see how they close out the rest of this class.
listening to coach, these are the best kids around. each of them probably loved what he said. love his attitude

Note that jumped out at me: the scat back is out.
Just because you weigh 330 lbs does not mean you are going to dominate. I like the bigger size and emphasis, but CU is a long ways away from dominating.
He criticized in the right way, too. He has always made sure to compliment the talent that is already here while he emphasizes needs and priorities.Regarding the recruiting class press conference, Tucker's tone was confident and positive. He addressed the weakness of the team immediately, the OL an DL. Everyone Buff fan saw what was wrong and Mac never seemed not prioritize these deficiencies and continued to recruit outside skill positions for years. Tucker addressed it in 2 weeks!
No offense but every head coach says that. The "Nothing is handed but you will have an opportunity to start if you are good enough" line is used by everyone.Tucker's message to true freshmen coming in: "Be ready to play as a freshman. That's your mindset. I believe in playing guys when they're ready to play. We're going to put the best players on the field."
I am excited to see this, excited to see some young guys make a name for themselves.
I don't think MM was of this mindset.

Yeah, **** off.
