I bet they felt that way. Many Buff fans were ready to send Hawk out of town on the next bus. Difference is, I don't think one Buff fan contemplated our chances of bouncing back and winning the MNC:lol:

How do they think they are going to win out when the Buffs are still on their schedule??

I will point out that they are technically correct. If they win out and there are some losses at the top of the polls, aTm could play for the MNC. Now the fact that, with the possible exception of UNM, every game on their schedule is more difficult than the one they just loss, aTm fans should worry about getting bowl eligible first.

Right now, I see them winning UNM and maybe 2 out of Baylor, ISU & Army.

I like how the one guy says people will see how good Arkansas State really is. He has a point though, because the 14 points A&M scored wasn't a product of their pathetic offense but of Arkansas State's notoriously stout defense. A defense which is largely to credit for all 5 wins they had last year.

If we win out we will be in the MNC.
Our schedule is tough and it is best to lose at the beginning of the season as opposed to near the end. This my have been what Sherman had planned as he did not want to expose too many schemes and plays. He played vanilla ball thinking we would still win but it didn't work however we still have our schemes and plays masked.

I still believe we will win 9 to 11 games.
MNC is not out of the question.

I'm going to the UNM vs ATM game this weekend. Tomorrow I'm going to go to their yell practice. I thought I'd cheer a fellow Big 12 team on, especially since the Buffs won't be on TV, and I have some Aggy friends.
