It's gotta be the team. I'm listening to that part right now and he hasn't addressed any individuals he's just talking about not taking advantage to show up and get that opportunity to play on Sunday's and that you have to show up no matter if it's home or away and get pumped to play. Sounds like he's more talking to the seniors but it applies for everyone.

Harsh words in his presser. But not at all surprising, words that need to be said, because honestly they are the truth. 100%.

One of the most underachieving senior classes in CU history.

Deehan and Hansen suck, Miller is vastly overatted. Speedy is the only real gem. T Clem came on the second half of the season, but it took him 2 1/2 years to do it.

I think it is a general statement that applies to the whole team, but I have a feeling it is directed at a select group, more select then just all the seniors.
 
The problem is, we dont have a team. We have a group of individuals. Some play hard all the time, some dont. Some give a **** about trying to win, some are just happy to exist at the d1 level. You better have a bunch of talent if thats the case.
 
What role does the staff play in motivating the team? I am concerned with the lack of accountability, and the constant blaming of the players. Even if they aren't any good, I don't know that they should constantly be reminded of this.

Even if it is 100% the players, I think I would rather hear something along the lines of, "we need to do a better job of motivating the players."
 
I'm done hearing from Embree this year until signing day or when he announces some coaches won't be coming back. Until then its just more of the same talk he's been spewing for over a year now.

I'd also suggest to Embree next year if we are still getting blown out by over 35 points every ****ing conference game than maybe he shouldn't be a head coach at the Div 1 level.
 
This senior class is an embarrassment. When I think of them I think of this.

All I know is, if you pop off on twitter or something like that, you better back the **** up. Otherwise, it just makes u look like a punk.

He actually talked a lot about it... Mentioned that you can only give so many motivational speeches, because at some point you just have to have the inner desire and burning need to go out there and prove that you are better than the other guy.

Half of his roster has had the football player coached out of them, however I agree. Another 2-10 season next year we may need to move quickly in the coaching search

Yeah we'll see. Embree was dealt a tough hand but from what I've seen this year on the field hasn't impressed me and doesn't reflect strongly on the coaches.
