ESPN covering Buffs on Signing Day with dedicated reporter

Kris Budden will be reporting live from Boulder, with interviews to be conducted with CU head coach Mike MacIntyre and select players, including some of Colorado's 12 early enrollees.

ESPN's extensive multi-platform coverage will span all of its networks as well as ESPN.com. The 12th annual event provides the latest news and information on college team's recruiting classes as top recruits make their official commitments. The day gets underway with an ESPNU special at 6 a.m. MST before jumping to ESPN2 at 10 a.m. The final two hours (3-5 p.m.) will then wrap up on ESPNU. Coverage will include contributions from reporters at all 16 campuses, with more than 25 interviews with head coaches and 12 on-air announcements.

Hosts Matt Schick (a Colorado graduate) and Joe Tessitore will keep fans up to date on all the news surrounding the day, led by national recruiting analyst Tom Luginbill, recruiting analyst Craig Haubert, and college football analysts Mike Bellotti, Mack Brown, Joey Galloway and David Pollack.

The crew will be joined by former LSU head coach Les Miles (also a former CU assistant in the 1980s), who will contribute to coverage throughout the day as a guest analyst, sharing his insight and experiences on the recruiting process.

ESPN just showed a map of the states being covered by their reporting staff for today's signing event. Colorado was the westernmost state on the map.

ESPN truly is the EASTERN Sports Network.

The fact that UCLA or USC doesn't have a reporter is pretty shocking to me. Not complaining, but still.
