Only thing better is watching transplants slip, slide, or hide from the snow and ice when they find their Subarus aren’t tanks or that keeping their pickups on the road requires some knowledge and skill. One of my favorite things is listening to Colorado natives falling over themselves talking about the "hard core" olden days.
Enjoy getting smashed by KSU, TT & the Okie schools kid (watch the vid)

This announcement stuff is way out of hand.Ha ha ha, I think you have a way to go Harry Potter if you think playing OU and OSU are going to be "fun" this season. Bless his heart . . .

This town used to get 6-10 inches of snow and not miss a beat. No school closures nothing....everyone just went to work. Now, its like the apocalypse every time it snows. Thankfully global warming has ended the snow, here in the front range so we don’t have to worry about much. Now we just have skin cancerOne of my favorite things is listening to Colorado natives falling over themselves talking about the "hard core" olden days.

I remember not having any snow days ever, and it kinda being a **** show.
I was talking about this yesterday. We never once had a snow day, not once in my whole life. The only time they closed the county down was when it snowed 2’ in 2003 and I was on “spring” break!! I was pissed.
We’re the same age. Did you not go to CU during that epic 2006 fall semester where they cancelled finals? I looked like a genius amongst my friends because I had two kegerators ready to go.
STUCK in the blizzard freezing my ****ing ass off waiting for an RTD bus because he couldn’t drive his camaro down there. I ended up having to go to market street station and my sister picked me up downtown at like 10:30 at night and I left the mall at like 2. Worst day of my life, lol, cars were stuck all over the highway.
All the big snowstorms when I was growing up hit on a Friday almost without fail.I was talking about this yesterday. We never once had a snow day, not once in my whole life. The only time they closed the county down was when it snowed 2’ in 2003 and I was on “spring” break!! I was pissed.
SIAP but HCMT was interviews on 1043 yesterday about the recruiting class. Interview can be heard here.

A little 80's punk for you, you young whipper snapper. What in the **** is that? Lol. I imagine his is where I got my affinity for them because now I have a 2017.
Just the third class among the top 45 this decade and 6th to finish in that threshold since 2005... yet we have people already doubting MT's recruiting .
Well, shoot. Here I was thinking I’d jog your memory about some good snow days. It was like 3 or 4 different blizzards over a 3 week span I think. There were definitely people that got screwed by not being able to raise a grade with finals being canceled.
Calm down, nobody is doubting him. But 45 is 45, are we supposed to jump for joy over that? That’s how you create goal posts, “oh well it was his 1st class so 45 is great!!” What comes after that? “Oh well it’s just his 1st season and he hasn’t gotten “his” players yet.” “It’s just his 2nd class and when he gets all his players in place we’ll improve and start landing top 25 classes!!!”
I think he can do it but I’m ****ing sick of talking about it. Somebody just ****ing do it. If Tennessee can land players that are almost 100’s there’s no reason we can’t, they’re SO BAD!
I've seen all sorts of kicking and screaming over the boards about how we didn't finish strong. Fact of the matter is he had 8 weeks to not only sell our program to new recruits but also reaffirm the kids that were already committed. Let's not pretend these kids view CU as a national powerhouse that should sell itself. I still don't really understand how we convinced Ham to flip, commit and sign so quickly.
You’re putting words in my mouth now. I know what the coach is up against and if you’re here enough I’ve said this on numerous occasions about the hurdles we have with recruiting. But MT said this is a no excuses program so no excuses. I agree with you, I think we finished fine all things considered. I have hope for the future but it’s still an average class, C grade. MT did the talking and so I’m going to go off that, time to see the results. I think we’re all just sick of hope, we want some ****ing results.
Put in context. In a normal year, this is a C class. In a transition year, it’s actually highly regarded as a very good class, in context. You’re putting words in my mouth now. Exactly. If you take a look at other transition classes I think we did very well.
14. Ohio State
32. North Carolina
45. Colorado
48. West Virginia
51. Georgia Tech
60. Maryland
62. Kansas State
65. Kansas
67. Texas Tech
73. Louisville
Well enough to beat USC? That's the goal correct?
