I’m legitimately considering skipping the game itself and just hanging out at the tailgate all day. If I have to sit through another offensive performance like what we have witnessed the last three weeks, I may lose it. All the parents who sit around me in the stands already hate me. I actually had one guy, in the middle of the Minnesota game, tell me I needed to be more positive. Good lord.
I’m positive that guy needs to mind his own bidness.
Well, in his defense, I was pretty vocal about the ****show I was witnessing.
I get that parents don’t like to hear criticism of the team they sent their son to play for. But damn, Stevie Wonder can see there are some serious problems with this program right now. I can’t be saying stuff that they are legitimately surprised to hear.
T Lang’s folks were a lot of fun. I don’t know who the player was whose parents were sitting in front of me last week. One thing that just sets me off is when they ask me if I have a son on the team. Like that somehow means I’m not allowed to be critical. I haven’t done it yet, but one of these days, I’ll ask them how much they paid for those seats.
My dad was going to buy tickets for USC game then Minnesota happened. He said tickets are way too expensive for the lack of quality the team is putting out.
The next time he asks you to be more positive, just respond, “about what, precisely?”
