Folsom Frenzy and C-Unit merge

I am guessing C-Unit will add Basketball to their brand. I believe this will be very good for the student section as a whole. Especially on the admin side.

My only fear is that it will lead to a further crack down by the AD on the basketball side, trying to make them more "Family Friendly"
I could be wrong but they seem pretty lenient on shenanigans at football games. Maybe when the demand for tickets goes up like it has for basketball and we are top 3 in the conference in attendance that will change but I doubt it for the next couple years.

Not just Folsom Frenzy and C-Unit, but Buff Brigade (Soccer) and Gold Diggers (Volleyball) have now become C-Unit Affiliates.

I think this is a good thing. There will be growing pains, but having one student fan organization should increase efficiencies.

Any jobs lost in the merger? I'm sure there will be plenty of economies of scale and synergies to be exploited.

The only one I wasn't crazy about was Folsom Frenzy, but I thought the others were solidly named and reflected the sports well. I don't see what woudl be so hard about maintaining different supporter groups for each sport.

I tried to get them to use the state of Colorado flag's "C", but apparently that's "Not part of the official branding." Well, neither is the old C-Unit C we're using in the new logo. Also, all the freshmen had Welcome Week shirts with a silver & gold Colorado flag C on them. Huh. At least they let me add "EST. 2004" and change the positioning of "UNIT" so it was more prominent.

The C looks like the C used for the C-Club and the letterman jackets. I get that from an AD branding standpoint
