Big Bang, as I have said before, you can find impact RBs/WRs/DBs this time of year available to play immediately. Those type of athletes can slip through the cracks for various reasons.

Quality QBs and DTs that can play right away (which is what you were arguing for in the past) are nearly impossible to find. Very few fall through the cracks because everyone is looking for those positions. Even Wood had to sit out last season. Is this really that hard of a concept to grasp?

Point being, the coaches are looking for experienced depth at QB that can help immediately. The latest Hirschman injury seems to have changed their thought process. The options out there at this time of year are limited, so taking a guy like Webb might be their reasonable choice.

That would be nice. He would have to attend classes but it's probably too late to be admitted

He will graduate from Kansas in May, and join the team this summer.
Webb will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Webb, who graduates in May and has two years of eligibility remaining, could be a very good fit for Colorado. I wondered about why a coach would do that and found an article saying weis was bringing in a QB from noter dame. That can't have agood impact on the other ku players, but maybe no-one cares.
