GAME THREAD: Cougs @ Buffs

George King with a senior play right there to get the o rebound & put back.

Biggest problem with the defense continues to be the deep post position they continue to allow. Drive me ****ing crazy.

That rebound and spin move before the pass to Dom was a perfect example of what Kin brings to the table.

I got dragged away from the game at 61-43, came back and it was 74-58; I figured what I missed was uneventful. I guess it wasn't.

Wazzu is a dangerous team with the way they can shoot. They're gonna catch somebody in the Pac-12 on a night when that team is having a poor shooting night and hit enough 3s to pull a big upset.

Would have liked to see CU put the game away...maybe against UW.

Way too sloppy in the second half. Just really hard to maintain the amount of intensity they had in the first half.

Happy for King tonight. His mom got to see him play live for one of the only times he's been here. McKinley said in the post-game that he was conscious of that and was feeding him to get him going.

You guys can thank me. I turned the game on when I got home, because even though I don't know **** about Wazzu really, I felt somewhat confident that I could watch the game. Around the 15 mark of the second half, we were up 23 when I turned it on. As I'm making dinner, seriously, it gets down to 15...I turned it off. And voila! We won.

Wazzu cut it to 5, I think, on that run. Asshole! :ROFLMAO:

Watched the game... in and out... spot naps and all..

Is it just me or does WSU play an ugly form of round ball? I don’t know a lot about basketball but, I didn’t find them fun to watch.

Either way, super happy to see the Buffs win!

They don't have a choice but to play ugly-they don't have the talent that teams like Utah or us do. I'd almost go as far as to compare them to AFA-they need to do something unconventional to be successful......as evidenced by Tony Bennett's tenure up there. I like the way we hit back after their run........but two things really make me nervous coming out of this. One, the lack of movement on offense (especially during their run). We looked like the Nuggets with how in love with jump shots we were. We play like that against an exclusively zone team like UW and we better hope to shoot really, really well. Two, that game in Pullman has scared me for a while and now even more so.........WSU is good enough and can shoot it well enough (Skaggs or whatever his name was in particular) to where they're going to knock off a couple teams who have to play them up there.

We were hitting shots at a really high % in the first half. We came out of the half hot too. I think we just got lazy once we were up 26. We also didn't really turn the ball over until their run. It was just a perfect storm of us finally going cold, WSU getting hot and us getting careless for the first time all game.

The game in Pullman won't be easy, but this team has shown resiliency a few times in the last couple weeks that'll help on the road. Hope that continues -
