CU Men's basketball (11-19 overall; 2-17 in the Big 12) hosts the TCU Horned Frogs (16-14, 9-10) in its final regular season game of the 2024/25 season, with a ceremony honoring the seniors scheduled to be held after the game.

I'm too lazy to look at tiebreaker scenarios, but it looks like there's at least some chance that this could end up being the 1st game of a back to back, with CU set as the #16 seed for the conference tourney and due to face the #9 seed in the 1st round, and TCU currently in a 3 way tie for 8th place in the conference with KSU and WVU. (Believe the 2 teams tied for 6th could also be in play (???) as CU's 1st round opponent, as they are only 1 game up on the 8th place teams and have challenging looking final league games, with KU hosting 3rd place Arizona and Baylor hosting league leader Houston.)

In the latest NET rankings (through games played 3/4/25; available at https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1/ncaa-mens-basketball-net-rankings), CU is at #100 and TCU #71.

The game is scheduled to be available on an ESPN+ stream. (Further info and links for media options available near the bottom of this post.)

Go Buffs!!!

I have an extra ticket for the game if anyone wants it. No charge for the ticket. All requests for me to pay you to attend the game will be denied.
Tickets gone
They did insist that I pay them to sit through the last conference game since we're 2-17.

Since it's the last game, any interest in a meetup at the Horse to pregame? We haven't all done it in a while.

Really looking forward to this.

Edit: I'd love to, but I'm maybe 50%. I'm not confident I handle the walk from the Horse to the game, but it's only 0.8 mi and flat the whole way.

Pease is also in there but Aztec's post above has them both listed as seniors even though the CU website has them listed as juniors

I was surprised to see we're a 2.5-point favorite today

Hammond warming up. Left arm wrapped wrist to elbow but looks OK.

Refs could / should call a reach on almost every single Buffs offensive possessions, and yet haven't managed to call a single one.
