Let me ask a question, do our guards not know to keep it out of the corners with a trap? Good Lord, I'm probably as bald as Tad is right about now. Get your entry and flash somebody to the middle, it'll break it down. Then you'll have numbers if you push it. Happy with the win, but damn.

Huge win. Not pretty down the stretch, but its a road win. And if you think about it, we were about 3-4 minutes of bad basketball from a road sweep.
This probably locks us for the tourney, right? Can't see us slipping below 30 NET now.

We probably project as a 6 seed.
I wouldn't say "lock" but I am more focused on maintaining or improving that likely seed.
I'm not gonna bitch about 3's like Moses, that's the game now. I didn't like how they handled the press at all, it's got to be better than that. Hell, they should've won this game by double digits.

Now we've got two games against the top two teams n the conference. Yeah ... they're both on our home court; but we know that this year without fans in the stands that means almost diddly. UCLA kicked our asses in LA, and SC is going to be looking for vengeance. Thankfully we got this game to salvage a bit of the road trip ... if we'd lost this one and then drop the next two.I fear it would have led to the same collapse we experienced last year. And we're still not out of danger for that kind of collapse. It's going to be an interesting, if excruciating, end of the regular season.

UCLA kicked our ass? We lost by 3.
We just went 2 and 2. Seems like trying to continue to tie this team to that collapse is just bad thinking. That team was dead in the water. This team just won on the road. There are two games left.
Well, if they can get the last two, plus make a run in the Pac12 tourney, it's a wrap.
I'd much rather go to the sweet 16 than anything, but a p12 tournament win would be fun

Cal didn't kick our ass either. Lost by 9 but it was a 2 point game with one minute left. The only game we've truly been out of was the AZ road game.

Dallas needs to play minutes off the bench. Not sure what Tad sees with him but Horne deserves a lot more minutes than Dallas.
Just finally watched the game after a long day. These games are why I do love this team and especially Kin. After today, I do see McKinley in the NBA, if anything a solid Backup Point Guard with a 10-year career after maybe a few seasons in the "G" League. He is a leader, a winner, and has a complete game. Love the guy.
As for your comments, it is really hard to see why Tad believes putting Dallas and Evan on the court at the same time is a good idea, because the lane is crowded, neither are really that good of passers, thus the ball stops when it hits their hands, and Horne IS the 2nd best player on this team and should be on the court far more minutes than either Dallas or Evan. Now, Dallas actually did not play that many minutes, and Horne had more, but Dallas starts and I get the sense that Tad does not have the balls to just start Jeriah, and declare that even though he is a one year guy, that he is worthy of starting and we play to win here.
Great win, need to split the homestand and then be ready to run the tourney, especially with Jabari hopefully coming back.
McKinley can easily hold a candle to guys like Dellavedova, Mills, or Barea

Also, Horne talked epic trash at the free throw line near the end of the game. The announcers heard him say to the Oregon State players who were trying to heckle his free throws, “We are the number one free throw shooting team in the country, this is what we do, and then he makes both of them”

Agreed 100% but I’m wondering with Jabari out if Tad is worried about second unit scoring. Horne provides offense off the bench. Dallas wouldn’t.
If he isn't, he should be. Horne needs the minutes, but agree with your point.
