Let them have their fun. They are being ridiculous, but they are bringing new attention to the bad refs in the PAC.

It won't endear them to the PAC, but I don't want them in it anyway. And it is entertaining.

I have an acquaintance who is a CSU grad, the very first words out of his mouth were, "How much do you pay the refs?"

Careful with this kind of logic. We can also use it to argue that CU would beat LSU by 10 on a neutral field.
 
The entertainment over there was starting to get old, until some guy posted a meltdown about CU fans that kept trying to sit by him with counterfeit tickets and he almost got himself kicked out of the stadium.
 
Can someone please petition the governor. This injustice can not stand and someone must lose a job. This Cost them the ability to cover, AND THERE WERE OTHER PLAYS WHERE OFFENSIVE HOLDING WAS NOT CALLED!!!

The injustice here is so large. The Pac12, Larry Scott and Donald Trump must apologize.


I honestly think they believe this crap. IT'S A GAME ram fans. Go drink a beer on the Poudre and enjoy the sun. You just hurt your brand with your vitriol.
 
By most accounts, this is their most talented team over the past ~10 years. Losing this game meant their best team couldn't match up to a rebuilt Buff squad. Next years Buffs will be an even worse matchup for them. The talent gap is only going to widen. Their window is closing, or has closed. That's why they're irrational.

Yep. A season to remember to go along with their new on-campus stadium was part of the Ft Collins copycat version of The Rise.

Revenge for the 2016 RMS drubbing with Stevens & Gallup redeeming themselves would have created a motivational narrative to go along with an undefeated record heading into Tuscaloosa. The whole world will be watching when CSU faces the Tide.

This loss to CU was a huge turd in their 2017 punch bowl. It wasn't supposed to be like this with Leavitt leaving. The prospect of beating 2 Pac 12 schools in six days was all part of the dream of legitimacy and maybe an invite to the Pac-12 itself.

Those Pac-12 Refs screwing CSU with questionable OPI calls was not just bad officiating. That was the college football big cigars telling CSU to keep working that MWC shine box.
 
This thread caused me to go over to Rams Nation for the first time ever. My two primary observations: (1) For such an active message board, wtf is up with that ancient format? It gave me flashbacks of the AOL dialup modem sounds. (2) There are people there who truly believe that the questionable ref calls were the result of a conspiracy involving the refs, HCMM, high level PAC 12 officials, the PAC 12 Network and announcers, and key Vegas insiders, among others.
 
Sam Mays is one of the sports radio personalities I listen to. Olinemen for okie lite, had a cup of coffee in the league.

I've heard him say, more than once, that teams typically make their biggest improvement from game one to game two.

Methinks the sheep could be in for a disappointing season.
