Graduation day

Not Sure

Sets low bar, barely exceeds it.

Today is the day a few thousand CU students become Alumni Forever Buffs.

Congratulations to anybody in this board who is graduating, or (more likely) has kids, nephews, nieces or even grandkids graduating today. This is a great accomplishment. We, your fellow Buffs, welcome you into the worldwide fraternity of Buff Alumni.

Apparently there was an accident on US 36 heading into Boulder. Caused a huge backup and probably kept several hundred people from attending the ceremony on time.

As much as I love CU, I try to avoid Boulder on graduation day. At least for football games, everybody pretty much knows where they're going and how to get there. On graduation day, it's 50,000 people descending on Boulder using GPS to get to Folsom Stadium, only to find out that there's no place to park.

That is too bad about the accident. Spring Grad day is by far the messiest day to drive in, out and around Boulder. The graduation coupled with kids still moving out = total gridlock. However, graduating on Folsom Field is so special that I would never want it at a different place. What a nice weather day for it.
