**** Gary Barnett.

Im not going to blame the players. They all appeared to be trying. I hate that BLew is going to be dealing with **** from fans when he’s being put in a spot he shouldn’t be in. It’s not his fault he’s out there being put in bad spots.

Anyone who gets upset at anyone but RG, KD and the staff is a moron.
I feel awful for Lewis, and hopefully someone can make him understand the fans aren’t booing him as a player, but rather the coaching decision to put him back in the game time and time again.

Lewis makes the buffs too one dimensional. Had the one long pass I thought was out of bounds, otherwise it’s just short passes and read option.

I think they were mainly booing KD. What the **** is Lewis supposed to do if they tell him to get out there?
I think Lewis a talented QB, in many ways more talented than Shrout.

He is also a guy that we knew when he was recruited needed development. He was not ready to be a QB on this level.

In a real program a guy like Lewis comes in an redshirts a year then spends a couple of years climbing the depth chart by his 2nd or 3rd year in the program he is getting snaps in garbage time and may even come in if the starter gets hurt.

Then when he is a junior of so and has learned what is needed to play at this level, has faced the starting defense enough along with he limited playing time to be ready for the speed of the game, he shows up as a contender to be the starter. Most of the fans have mostly forgotten him and wonder who is this guy.

Play him too early, and last year was too early as is probably this year, and you run a real risk of ruining him. You put him into panic mode, he gets worried about when the hit is coming, is afraid of getting picked, isn't able to process the game mentally and reverts to basic instincts which result in more mistakes and a downward spiral.

**** you and not in the cute allbuffs greetings kind of way. Im done playing nice. Karl dorrell, the admin, the ad etc has killed this program and I will boo whoever I damn well please... seriously it seen 20 ****ing years of dog ****
This used to be such a friendly place.

Who the **** is this guy?
I honestly had no idea who the **** he was until a broken record of stupidly optimistic tweets on this program started showing up in my twitter timeline. He apparently founded some clothing company. Linkedin profile says he's a CSU grad.

Sounds like a troll.

Funny thing about Lewis is he was a TCU lean early on, but didn’t make a jump passing in the end of his high school career and the coaches I guess made the offer non committable
Gads. Is that true? If that isn’t the height of foreshadowing—awful storytelling, though. We need some lead up to the ironic, unexpected turn-around, and ultimately a happy ending. Hopefully, we are only at the end of Act II: hero is up in the tree and things looks bleak.

Oops. Nope. There’s the curtain. Shoot.

I could have shed a tear last night, watching GA and knowing we will almost certainly never compete at that level.

The most 'marketable' aspects of CU football at this point, are: Folsom's beautiful physical location, Ralphie, the bronco's supporters (who arguably could support the Buffs too)

J Walker, D White, M Wright all at the game yesterday and worked out at the Dome. Did Tad have a load of recruits in?

This take looks awfully familiar. I've seen it on twitter today in fact.

Welcome to the board, Jeremy!

Who is attacking the players? Seems like a serious mis-read. The issues—for pretty much everyone who has noticed we suck—is the long-slow decent into administrative incompetence, focused through various points of view on RG, the President, the Regents, the various head coaches, etc.

I have seen no ad hominem attacks on players, beyond opinions as to whether someone feels certain players should be starters on a P5 team, which is a completely fair assessment—especially these days at CU. In fact, a number have transferred out of P5. Mostly, I’ve seen support for players among the fan base in the form that they deserve better from the school, and some chance to win.

I’m never a fan of booing, but I understand where that came from. Just a half of football into a new season and everyone can see another 2021 of insulting offensive incompetence looming. KD putting a player who isn’t ready (yet?) to lead a P5 team back onto the field in a one-point game was the focus of fan ire. I’m sure it felt bad for the players to hear that, but that’s what happens when CU puts forth 15 years of awful, unhopeful football (minus one or two?). You can’t ignore the context. The administration has put the players into this position. Everyone else is simply noticing.

Don't worry. Lewis will transfer to Michigan State, come off the bench in an important game, and light it up.
