Guess the Attendance: Rocky Mountain Showdown

Updated prediction: 51,000.

CU fans 44,000
CSU fans 7,000.

I want to change my prediction now that csu fans have seen their team.

I will lower my prediction Bob to 61,577

This is the first time in a few years that I can recall CU being ahead of CSU in student tickets. They "sold out" their free student tickets the last few years (2015 was by far the most they ever had though. The overall crowd was split like 51/49 in favor of CSU that year)

@StormTrooper Do you have the numbers for student passes sold in previous years?
2017: All 11,500. Two days before the CSU game they were at 9,829, so 600 ahead of this year. By the following day it was 10,836
2016: About 10,000. Two days before the CSU game it was 7,590. By the day before it was up to 8,776
2015: About 8,000. The day before the CSU game it was 7,438. Smaller jumps that week because it wasn't the season opener.
2014: I think about 7,000-7,500
2013: Not sure, but two days before the CSU game they had sold 6,605 so probably ended up about 8,000
I got all these numbers from Brian Howell's twitter feed.

And then what happened?

P.S. CAM is dead. Long live Ralphie!

Seems like the ticket sights have plenty of tickets for the CSU side but CU side is hard to come by right now. Market seems kind of tight. I also don't believe they have opened any seats in the North Endzone above level 100. I used to buy cheap seats in 320 and those are not for sale anywhere and CU Tix told me today they weren't there's but they sure and hell aren't the Rams either. I think CU is underscoping what they could sell, especially if they priced them a little less.

To be sure, the Lamenation website has its ‘Tini’s that are calling for 3-7 point CSU wins, but most are guessing CU 42- CSU 28 type scores.

72,316.

Also, CU tickets are behind last year by a couple thousand. With 24 hours to go last year, CU had sold 37,407
