Helmet's coming off

I've been watching football all day and I can't recall a time when I've see so many helmets get knocked off while playing. 2 in the buffs game, 4 times in UT CAL, 3 times KSU/Auburn, an bunch in OSU/GA. Did they change the helmet strap design or something? Are players not strapping them as tightly as they used to? Anyone else notice this?

I worry because with as frequently as it seems to be happening now it's only a matter of time before it happens during a play and someone get hurt or killed.

It seems to be happening all the time now. I've seen it in a bunch of NFL pre-season games too. Some players, it seems like, lose their helmet on every play. I really think a lot of it is an attention thing - with the rules against removing your helmet on the field, it's a way of getting their face on TV...
