I said 3, but it's more of a 3.5 or 3.7. We have seen glimpses, and everyone would be at a solid three if CU played like we did against ASU. I think, even with the win, and even with covering, most of us are taken aback at the second half play of the offense. D did much better, but they have to grow up in a hurry against PAC 12 teams now. Offense looked so decent against ASU and then again looked good here and there in the first half against Hawaii. But then there is the super conservative calling and trying to run the clock out that just makes us wonder WTF. Was it the OC not showing much for some perceived advantage against Cal next week? I can't see that doing more of what gave us points in the first half would have been a bad thing. Or was it the Hawaii DC making some changes and our OC not being able to counteract them?
I hope that by the end of the year we can all feel CU is at a 2.5 in how they play, even if they are a 4 in what the record shows. If that makes sense.
