Concerns over 9-3 ending up being a disappointment for this season are a beautiful thing.
Defensive run game weaknesses have come a little bit from not having really strong D-Line depth. Too many snaps for the core 3 guys up to this point. It would be nice to have another 2-3 decent guys to run in and give some breaks to the big boys. That is the slight difference right not between the Buffs and the top 4-5 super programs. There are only so many of those really big dudes. Biggest problem is not getting the next tier of local guys to be those subs as walk ons, they would rather start at a smaller school. Gotta keep improving and getting the big time press and the local kids will get back to understanding who is the Power 5 program to go to.
